Some pretty weird things happened during the Olympics. One of them was the return of Fosters to tell us that we were Australian because we drank Fosters.
Sorry Fosters, but only people who live here can decide what makes us Australian.
Apart from that they actually say a lot of the things Australians do think about themselves. It's ironic that the country that traded on the cliches for so long went out and made an ad that tried to dismiss them. Like I said, a lot of weird things happened during the Olympics.
The one disapointing thing about this ad is that it isn't original. There are some pretty angry Canadians out there and they'll be happy to scream at you for ripping off 'their' ad. But dont worry, I like to think of it as a form of flattery, which is why we stole a Canadian ad and not an American one. (No personal offense to the Americans out there but I've seen some of your beer ads- they're not the cleverest (sic) ads going)
